CARBACYCLIN

(69552-46-1)
Carbaprostacyclin is a stable analog of PGI2. When infused in rabbits or dogs, it inhibits ex vivo platelet aggregation, but the effect persists only 10 minutes after termination of the infusion. Carbaprostacyclin is a stable analog of PGI2. When infused in rabbits or dogs, it inhibits ex vivo platelet aggregation, but the effect persists only 10 minutes after termination of the infusion. This implies rapid metabolic inactivation of carbaprostacyclin. Carbaprostacyclin inhibits platelet aggregat

TXB2

(54397-85-2)
TXB2 is a stable, biologically inert metabolite formed from the non-enzymatic hydrolysis of TXA2, which has a half-life of about 30 seconds. Urinary analysis of TXB2 accurately reflects intrarenal TXA2 synthesis, while measurement of 11-dehydro and 2,3-dinor thromboxane metabolites gives the best estimate of systemic TXA2 secretion.

Δ12-PGJ2

(87893-54-7)
Δ12-PGJ2 is a decomposition product of PGD2 in aqueous media in the presence of albumin. It has antitumor and antiviral activity, inhibiting growth of cultured L1210 cells at with an IC50 value of 0.7 μg/ml. Δ12-PGJ2 is present in normal human urine with a 24 hour excretion rate of 50-150 ng. It is also a moderately potent PPARγ ligand.

Inflammatory mediators refer to chemically active substances that are produced and released by local tissues or plasma under the action of inflammatory factors, and participate in or cause inflammatory reactions, so they are also called chemical mediators. There are two types, exogenous (bacteria and their products) and endogenous, but mainly the latter. Endogenous can be divided into two categories: cell-derived and plasma-derived. "Cell-derived" include vasoactive amines, prostaglandins, leukotrienes, lysosomal components and lymphokines, etc. The inflammatory mediators produced by plasma include kinin system, complement system, coagulation system and fibrinolytic system.
