Tubercidin

(69-33-0)
Tubercidin is a nucleoside metabolite first isolated from Streptomyces tubericidus. Tubercidin, like other nucleosides, is a broad spectrum potent chemotherapeutic agent active against viruses, bacteria, fungi, protozoans and tumors. Tubercidin acts on a diverse range of targets, such as RNA processing, nucleic acid and protein synthesis, and acts as a nucleoside mimic of adenosine.

Adenosine 5′-(trihydrogen diphosphate), sodium salt (1:?)

(20398-34-9)
Adenosine 5′-diphosphate (ADP) is an adenine nucleotide involved in energy storage and nucleic acid metabolism via its conversion into ATP by ATP synthases. ADP affects platelet activation through its interaction with ADP receptors P2Y1, P2Y12 and P2X1. Upon its conversion to adenosine by ecto-ADPases, platelet activation is inhibited via adenosine receptors.

Nucleoside drugs are an important class of drugs used clinically to treat viral infectious diseases, tumors, and AIDS. Nearly 50% of the currently used antiviral drugs are nucleoside drugs, and the antitumor drugs Cytarabine, Doxifluridine, etc. also belong to the nucleoside class. Nucleoside and deoxynucleoside series derivatives have a variety of biologically active substances, which can be used directly or indirectly as drugs, and play an extremely important role in the treatment of a variety of major diseases.
