2-Anthraquinonesulfonic acid Use and Manufacturing
It is derived from benzoyl benzoic acid by ring closure and sulfonation. Operation example Add 998kg of 20% oleum and 574kg of 65% oleum to the pot (the concentration of the mixed oleum is 36.5%). At a temperature lower than 90°C, 595kg of benzoylbenzoic acid was added, and then 670kg of recovered anthraquinone was added. The temperature was raised to 145°C and kept for 4h. After the sulfonation is completed, the sulfonate is diluted in the last batch of washing liquid and kept at 100°C for 2h. Filter and wash with 100°C hot water to make it neutral. The filtrate and part of the concentrated washing liquid are sent to the neutralization pot, and the light washing liquid is reserved for diluting the next batch of sulfonates. The filter cake is to recover anthraquinone, dried, and used for next batch of vulcanization. By controlling the conditions of neutralization and post-treatment, anthraquinone-2-sulfonic acid or its sodium salt can be obtained. The specific operation steps are as follows: add the filtrate filtered to recover the anthraquinone in the neutralization pot, dilute with ice water, reduce the temperature to 30°C and the relative density to 1.09, add 17-20% ammonia water to neutralize the pH to 7. Cool to 25℃, keep for 0.5h, filter, wash with a small amount of ice water and blow dry. The filter cake can get 650kg (100%) of anthraquinone 2-sulfonic acid ammonium salt. The total yield is 75% (based on anthraquinone).
