Chengdu Newsun is a high-tech enterprise, and is also one of the first batch of national specialized and special new LITTLE GIANT enterprises recognized by the MINISTRY OF INDUSTRY AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY OF THE PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF CHINA. Chengdu Newsun takes the self-developed natural plant source extract combined with bioengineering technology as the core, carries out technology research and development around the whole growth cycle of crops, forms a number of original core technologies, and has obtained 78 invention patents and 26 organic green agricultural input product certification at home and abroad. According to the data of CHINA PESTICIDE INFORMATION NETWORK, Chengdu Newsun is one of the enterprises with the most abundant registered crops and control objects and the most comprehensive product system in MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL AFFAIRS OF THE PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF CHINA. Chengdu Newsun has set up a Biotechnology Research Institute. As of March 31, 2020, it has 54 full-time R&D personnel, including 23 doctors and masters, and 16 personnel with medium and senior titles. The Biotechnology Research Institute has set up three creation centers of Biological Regulation Technology, Biological Prevention and Control Pesticide and Soil Repair and Nutrition Technology and Crop Immune Gene Editing Technology Laboratory, and established a research and development system guided by four experts, Duan Liusheng, Xu Minggang, Guo Jinlin and Li Jianzhong, as the chief scientists. In addition, Chengdu Newsun has set up academician (expert) innovation workstation, Sichuan Post Doctoral Innovation Practice Base and Chengdu Industry University Research Institute Joint Laboratory in cooperation with domestic universities and industry research institutions, providing technical support for the company's continuous innovation for a long time. Various R & D projects of Chengdu Newsun have won many important awards, including the second prize of Shennong China Agricultural Science and Technology Award for the project of Creation And Application Of Key Technologies For Brassinolide Quality Control; the second prize of National Science And Technology Progress Award for Farmland Acidification Characteristics And Key Technology Construction And Application Of Prevention And Control In Typical Red Soil Areas In China; and China's Typical Project The project of regional farmland acidification characteristics and control technology and application won the first prize of Shennong China Agricultural Science and Technology Award and the science and technology achievement award of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. Chengdu Newsun pays attention to the transformation of scientific and technological innovation achievements. The products cover the whole growth cycle of crops.
